The Million Dollar Question Have you been asking how to help my spouse with depression panic attacks because you don’t know what to do, you are certainly not alone. The picture over to the left may be a bit much, but I wanted to try and make a point about how hard it is for someone to go through anxiety with a spouse. If you spouse has an anxiety disorder brought on by depression, or life events, or nothing at all, it is really important that you try and help him/her. You see, they feel so alone in the world, because anxiety coupled with depression and other types of panic disorders (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Agoraphobia) can really make a person feel like there is not a single other person on earth that is going through what they are. It is great that you are being so patient with your spouse, because even if they don’t say it much, they need you to be patient with them as they try to figure out why their mind makes them so anxious. The thing about panic disorders, if you are not quite aware yet, is that they pick their victims…not the other way around. This is really important to remember, because nobody wants to be over-anxious
